Privacy policy

Last updated 12 October 2026. Halden is a static site. The purchase orders you type stay in your browser unless you export or print them yourself.

What stays on your computer

Orders, the vendor book, your buyer details, the numbering scheme, and the open draft are saved with the browser’s local storage on this device. Halden has no account system and no database of your suppliers. A server cannot show you last week’s PO, because it never received it.

Local storage is not a backup. Clearing site data, using a private window, or switching browsers removes or hides it. Export a CSV from the ledger when the record matters.

What you send on purpose

Print / Save PDF and Download CSV create a file on your machine. Emailing that file is your action, through your mail, not through Halden. The contact form does not post to a server. It opens a mailto link to hello@halden-2ut.pages.dev. If your device has no email app, nothing is sent and nothing is stored by the site.

Advertising

Each page reserves spaces for display advertising, including a banner, a rectangle, a small mobile unit, and a native placement. Until code from an ad network is placed in those spaces, they are empty and do not contact an ad server.

If you later add a network such as Adsterra, that network may process IP address, approximate location, device and browser data, and the page URL, and it may use cookies or similar storage to count impressions and limit repeat ads. That processing is the network’s, under its own policy. Review it before pasting the code. Halden does not sell a list of your purchase orders, because it does not have one.

Cookies

The desk itself does not set a tracking cookie. Browser storage for the ledger is not an ad cookie. If an ad script is added later, that script may set cookies. You can block third-party cookies in the browser. The orders will still save.

Children

Halden is a business document tool. It is not directed at children, and it should not be used to collect information about children.

Retention and deletion

Delete an order or a vendor inside the tool, or clear this site’s data in the browser settings. That is the whole retention policy, because there is no second copy on a server to delete.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Continued use of the desk after the date change is use of the policy as published on this page.

Questions

Do you sell my purchase orders?

No. The orders never leave the browser unless you export a CSV, print a PDF, or email that file yourself. There is no account database to sell.

What do the advertising boxes do?

Until ad code is pasted in, they are empty reserved spaces. After a display network is added, that network can see a page view, an IP address, and a rough location, and it may set cookies. Read that network's policy before you turn it on.
